Whenever you get asked to play at a party, a wedding or a club gig as a DJ it's sometimes difficult to know how much to charge!

Take into consideration the following 3 things when working out your DJ fee for a gig.

HOW LONG ARE YOU PLAYING FOR?

DO YOU NEED TO SUPPLY THE EQUIPMENT?

IS THERE TRAVEL INVOLVED?

Then put your quote in taking these things into consideration.

This is the good part - If your quote is accepted by the client, the next time someone books you, add an extra £50 to your fee.

If your next fee request get's accepted, add another £50 on again the next time someone asks you to play.

Keep repeating this process until 2 people say no.

Now you should have an idea of what your fee is.

IMPORTANT - KNOW YOUR WORTH!

If you have been DJing for 20+ years, clients are paying for your experience and musical knowledge, remember that....
